The Biancardi family, in collaboration with KBS Genetic, opens the doors of its company Saturday, June 11, 2022, in the small village of Maccastorna in the province of Lodi.

A not-to-be-missed opportunity to visit one of the largest and best-known herds in Europe regarding the Limousine breed, which today hosts a total of 1,250 cattle, marketed in Italy and abroad

The aim of the open day is mainly to introduce polled genetics (genetically hornless animals) to those who want to be present.

The Biancardi family has been breeding genetically hornless animals for twelve years, with the technical support of KBS Genetic, and the result is that half the herd is now polled.

A choice that has brought considerable advantages both in terms of welfare of calves and ease of management.

The program of the day

The day includes an accurate presentation of polled genetics and the benefits it brings to start a path of this kind. Following the opportunity for all guests’ breeders of Limousine, to visit and learn about the cattle-calf line breeding.

The lunch, offered by the Biancardi family, will allow you to take advantage of a convivial moment and exchange and discussion among the participants.

A first event, therefore, which aims to become an appointment to be fixed in the agenda for the coming years.
